Terms of Service

Effective 4 August 2026 · Version 1.0

These terms govern every DeployerProof engagement. They are short because the business is simple: fixed-scope services, agreed by email, invoiced, delivered. If anything here conflicts with a written scope confirmation for your engagement, the scope confirmation wins.

1. Who you are contracting with

DeployerProof is operated by Amiya Krishna Bera, trading as DeployerProof — a sole proprietorship established in India, registered trading address Basantia, East Midnapore, West Bengal, India, PIN 721442. Contact: hello@deployerproof.com.

Services are offered to businesses, not to consumers. By booking, you confirm you are acting in the course of a trade or profession.

2. The services and their prices

ServicePriceWhat you receive
Compliance gap-scan €249 one-time A written report covering your AI touchpoints: the obligation mapping under EU AI Act Article 50, the jurisdiction overlay for applicable US state laws, and a prioritized fix list with draft disclosure copy. The method is published in full at deployerproof.com/method.html.
Disclosure pack €49 one-time Jurisdiction-mapped disclosure texts, a self-hosted React/JS disclosure component, a transparency-policy page template, and an implementation checklist. Offered as a follow-up to a completed scan.
Evidence log €19 per month A subscription service maintaining a hash-chained, RFC 3161-timestamped record of your disclosure configuration and its changes, with exportable evidence packs. Metadata only, hosted on EU-region infrastructure (Frankfurt). Sold once the service opens; the site says plainly whether it has.
Procurement trust report €399 per year A dated, hash-referenced report answering the AI section of enterprise security questionnaires, with an optional hosted trust page. Scoped individually before booking.

Prices are in euro. For business clients outside India, no Indian GST is charged on export of services; EU business clients account for VAT under the reverse-charge mechanism (Article 196 of the VAT Directive), and the invoice carries the wording for it. Nothing is sold with hidden add-ons: the invoice total is the number above.

3. How an engagement forms

You book by email. We reply with a written scope confirmation naming the product covered, the touchpoints, the jurisdictions, the price, and the delivery window. The contract forms when you confirm that scope and we issue the invoice. Until then, neither side owes the other anything.

We decline engagements the service is wrong for — bots built inside third-party platform widgets are the standing example — and we decline them before invoicing, not after.

4. Payment

All services are settled by bank transfer against an invoice: SEPA for EU clients, SWIFT otherwise. Cross-border collection runs through Skydo, whose account details are printed on the invoice. There is no card checkout and no stored payment method — which also means nothing renews or recharges automatically. A subscription month or a report year is invoiced, agreed, and paid; silence never costs you money.

5. Delivery

The gap-scan report is delivered by email within 48 hours of your payment landing in our account — not from the invoice date, since a bank transfer takes a day or two to arrive. If a different window is agreed in the scope confirmation (a larger product, a holiday period, flagged before you pay), that agreed window applies instead.

The disclosure pack ships within the week of the scan follow-up being agreed. Evidence-log access begins when the first subscription invoice is settled.

6. Refunds and cancellation

Gap-scan

If the report does not reach you within the stated delivery window, you get a full refund — the whole fee back, not a credit, not a discount on a second try. You can also cancel any time before payment at no cost; before payment, there is nothing to refund.

Once a report has been delivered, the fee is earned and is not refundable for reasons of content — the report saying your product is largely fine, or largely not fine, is the service working. If you believe a delivered report misses its published scope, say so within 14 days and we will correct it at no charge.

Subscriptions (evidence log)

Cancel any time by email, effective at the end of the billing month already paid for. There are no partial-month refunds, and there is nothing else to cancel: with no stored payment method, a cancelled subscription simply stops being invoiced. On termination you receive a full export of your evidence-log records, as the privacy policy describes.

Annual services (procurement trust report)

Invoiced per year with no auto-renewal; a renewal is a fresh agreement. If the initial report is not delivered within the window in your scope confirmation, the gap-scan refund rule applies: the full fee back.

7. What you agree to

8. What the service is not

This is not legal advice; consult qualified counsel. DeployerProof provides compliance-engineering analysis and implementation materials based on published regulations and official guidance. No deliverable certifies compliance, guarantees the outcome of any regulatory proceeding, or substitutes for a lawyer's sign-off — the deliverables are built to make that sign-off faster, not unnecessary.

9. Liability

Aside from anything that cannot lawfully be limited, our total liability for an engagement is capped at the fees you paid for that engagement. We are not liable for indirect losses — lost profits, lost deals, regulatory penalties — flowing from how the deliverables are used or not used. The cap is proportionate to the bargain: a fixed-fee document service, priced accordingly.

10. Data

How we handle data is set out in the privacy policy; where we process personal data on your behalf, the Data Processing Agreement applies automatically to the engagement.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes go to the courts of West Bengal, India — after an attempt to sort the matter out by email first, which in a practice this size is not a formality but how everything else already works.

12. Changes

This page is versioned and dated. Changes apply to engagements formed after the change is published; the version you contracted under is the one that governs your engagement, and material changes get emailed to active clients.
